This is garbage. First off I do t remember even signing up. I decided to sign up last night and it turns out my email is being used. I tried every password that I use and none worked so I couldnt access on my tv. I then went to my phone and was able to get in that way...

Prime CSR's hate that Amazon allows that since it causes far more calls from whiners who regret removing the titles or accidentally have done it, so by having the techs have to do it, it cuts down that issue since people have time to think about it while on hold. I remove titles all the time but lately, it takes about 40 minutes via online chat to get to a rep due to the merger with Fandango still causing a spike in customers calling in.

And no, you don't own the films, you hold a license to view them as you please but at any given time, that's the scary part of digital, one can spend thousands, I have over 160 films on Vudu, and if they go under, I'm SOL because I don't own the films, just have a license to view them on Vudu, or MA if I transfer them over, but some studios, such as Lionsgate, don't allow the transfer, they don't like MA. Think Disney owns them and many studios hate Disney.

Customer service is totally non-existent

Cannot get email answers nor can I get through on the given phone number. All I wanted was to kern how much time I have to watch a movie once I rent it. Cannot get any response from Customer Service.

Continuing interruptions to movies purchased

I called 3 times, was on hold for an average of 30 minutes, cut off twice. Tried a third time and got a message saying to contact vudu during normal business hours. If this is how VUDU wants to treat its customers, I think they can reimburse me for the over 140 movies I've purchased, and cancel my account. Their customer service is very poor. I think they cut me off because it was close to quitting time and didn't want to work over on my issues with the interruptions with play back of these movies that I purchased from fandango now.

Bla-blaPaid for a movie was told insuficent funds for purchase.Have the deduction from my visa giftcard.When I contacted support was told they could do nothing and it wasbmy problem.Then why do I have money deducted from my card

Digital library of over 700 movies is not available to stream as of 08/01/2021

No one at Fandango or Vudu is helping and tell me that there are no reports of problems with vudu. There are multiple reports on the facebook site with the exact same problem during the same time frame. I am on day 5 without the ability to access the site or stream.

Fraud

Someone charging my credit Card for VUDU. I talked to someone and they promised to research and refund the fraudulent charges on m credit card. Those charges have NOT been reversed and new charges are continuing to occur.

Disgusted

Screen freezes. Took 10 minutes to get to movie list, and now waiting for movie list to unfreeze. Good thing basic service is free because it isn't worth a fake nickle.

Vudu still has yet to contact me and still hasnt reimburse me for their screw up. Called them and was rudely told by supervisor that they will not be doing anything to rectify situation. Asked for a legal department number and was hung up on.

Contacted VUDU to remove duplicate movies. This is from purchasing bundles then upgrading individual movies to better video quality i.e. sd-hdx-4k as some bundles not available in 4k at time. They deleted all the wrong movies including two 4k upgrade purchases. Contacted three weeks ago and was called a liar by one rep then another rep admitted that they deleted wrong movies. Three weeks and still no resolution has been made nor offered.

User's recommendation: Use Prime. Stay away from VUDU.

I asked VUDU to delete some movies that I ended up with doubles due to 4k and HDX upgrades on movies in bundles. They deleted wrong movies including 2 4k upgrades that was just purchased. Its been three weeks after initial contact about it and still no resolution. I'm pulling away from vudu. I will not be making any further purchases from VUDU and I encourage everyone to boycott them.

Wrong movies deleted

I emailed to have movies deleted as I had repeats. If you purchase certain bundles, they're not available in 4k. If you upgrade the movies, another copy gets created. They deleted 8 movies wrongfully. Two of which I literally just purchased to upgrade to 4k. Now they refuse to answer emails offer refund or replace said movies. Vudu went downhill since the Fandango purchase.

User's recommendation: Keep an eye and list of all purchased movies and upgrades.
