VUDU gave me a $5.50 promo credit good for six days. I rented a DVD for $0.99.
For some reason, they billed my payment method instead of deducting from the credit. AFTER that, they then deducted the credit value from my account. In addition, I could never get the video to play on the computer. So I got no video, no benefit from the promo, and no I'm out $0.99 for some reason.
I contacted them about both issues, and never heard back.
So I've escalated the issue as a dispute on my billing account, because apparently no one is home at VUDU. Next I'll be asking how to delete my billing info or block VUDU on my billing account so this doesn't happen again.
