I bought the season pass for a couple of tv shows, as well as some movies. Now vudu has lost my account, claiming that my email is not in their system.

So I wasn't able to watch the series finale of Breaking Bad. Also, their streaming quality is no better than the free streaming services you can find online. Trying to watch movies on their service is torture.

Its not my equipment that's the problem, as I have no problem watching movies on youtube, etc. And their support site is useless as well, relying heavily on a forum monitored by people who have nothing helpful to offer.

I hear you. I have purchased 1k worth of movies thinking i was getting superb audio.

Many of my movies are in 7.1 which vudu advertises for.

After taking a closer look I have realized that all my 7.1 movies are in 5.1.

Complete *** bait and switch.

i use vudu with no issues except from some buffering from time to time which i think i caused by my cable internet provider.

i watch vudu from my samsung tv directly and have no issues, and can watch hdx versions.

try to do a speedtest on your network to see what speed you internet is actually running on (just because your isp says you are subscribed to 10mbit doesn't necessarily you are getting that. i have 50mbit but most of the time my speed is only at 20).

also check the device that runs your vudu, i have a neighbor who sometimes borrows my vudu account, and he experiences some problems eventhough we have the same cable internet provider, only difference is he uses a roku and i use a built in app from my tv).

i hope this helps. oh and regarding your missing email, send vudu your purchase receipts from your credit card company. i hope they can trace back your purchases from there. i do recall they got hacked a while back so all passwords had to be reset (i got an email a few months back regarding this, but i did not lose my account at all, it just asked me to change passwords).

Thanks. To be fair to Vudu, they have since resolved my problem with them.

Its just that the problems occurred at the precise worst time for me (series finale of my favorite show).

I'm not nearly as *pissed* at them as I was at the moment. :roll
